PURPOSE:To improve the ignition performance and at the same time suppress the formation of a carbon layer by a constitution wherein a part of a plurality of annularly arranged nozzles are directed to an ignition plug and their remaning parts are directed to a liner wall downstream of the ignition plug. CONSTITUTION:The nozzle holes of the nozzles 12A are directed to the vicinity of the ignition plug 5 so that the half vertical angle of a partial hollow truncated conical-shaped film formed by being injected from the nozzles 12A in an annular location at the side, at which the ignition plug 5 is provided, is made an angle of theta degrees in order to guide the atomized film swirlingly injected from the nozzles 12A to the vicinity of the ignition plug 5. Furthermore, the nozzle holes of the nozzles 12B are directed so that the half vertical angle theta' (degree) of a partially notched hollow half truncated conical-shaped film formed by being injected from the nozzles 12B is smaller than said angle theta in order to collide the atomized film against a liner 2 at the location downstreatm of the ignition plug 5. |
