PURPOSE:To form easily and inexpensively a joined part having high quality, by sandwiching a thin sheet of a eutectic material having the m.p. lower than the m.p. of metallic base materials in the joining boundaries of the base material, pressing metallic blocks contg. heaters to the joining part under low pressure and forming a eutectic melt phase by thermal conduction. CONSTITUTION:The joining sides of Al pipes 1, 2 to be joined are respectively flanged 3, 4, and a thin sheet of a eutectic material 5 is sandwiched between the same. Metallic blocks 6, 7 contg. heaters which maintain heating to the temp. lower than the m.p. of the base materials 1, 2 and higher than the m.p. of the material 5 are placed on the rear side of both flanges 3, 4, and are pressurized simultaneously with a cylinder 8. The material 5 in the joining part is thus heated by the conduction of heat from the blocks 6, 7 to induce a eutectic reaction. The eutectic melt phase 9 formed by said reaction is discharged by the pressurization, whereby the perfect metallic bond is obtd. |
