PURPOSE:To load automatically a core into a core setter without damaging the core and master mold with good efficiency by positioning the core on a sliding table, and correcting the position thereof in a transfer loading section, then fixing and holding the same and loading the core as it is into a core mask. CONSTITUTION:A core 13 is placed on the sliding plate 4 of a sliding machine base 1, and is positioned by means of a positioning plate 11 for side face. A moving plate 9 is moved in a transverse direction toward the side of a machine bed 2 for transfer and loading. The centers in the side face direction and axial face direction are positioned by a positioning plate 15 for the axial face position mounted to a lifting base 14. The core 13 is grasped between the positioning plate 17 projected to the base 14 and the ejecting plate whereby the position thereof is corrected. The core 13 is then held and fixed by means of the placing plate and a grasping plate 23, and a cylinder 21 for loading is actuated to load the core 13 in the state of a longitudinal posture into a core mask 31. The core is loaded with high efficiency in adaptation to the cycle time of the core setter by the above-mentioned method. |
