PURPOSE:To make it possible to obtain sufficient drive torque with the use of a small capacity pulse motor, by driving the pulse motor with two phase energization after the pulse motor is driven with one or two phase energization by first several hundred pulses, upon the reverse rotation of carrier rollers by the pulse motor under cutting instructions. CONSTITUTION:When a pulley 43 is rotated counterclockwise by a motor 41, a roller 29 rotates counterclockwise to progressively feed a recording paper but a gear 47 does not rotate. Simultaneously, since a gear 61 rotates counterclockwise, a feed roller 35 rotates clockwise to feed the paper. Further, although a gear 67 rotate clockwise, but it idles between itself and a shaft 62 due to an one-way clutch 66 disposed therebetween. Next, when the motor 41 reversely rotates, the roller 29 also reversely rotates to stretch the recording paper and as well to release a cutter cam follower 58 from a cam 49, so that a bracket 57 is rotated until a projection 59 abuts against a stopper 60, and therefore, the recording paper is cut by a movable cutter blade 34. At thist time, the drive of the motor with one or two phase energization offers a feed speed half as high as that with two phase energization, but produces a large torque, thereby the drive may be made with a small capacity motor. |
