PURPOSE:To improve the comfortability and the maneuverability by measuring the mass distribution of a vehicle including the persons and cargoes and modifying at least one operational target value of adjustment of vehicle height, a damping factor or a spring constant adaptively on the basis of the measured information. CONSTITUTION:The traveling condition of a vehicle 2, the operating condition of driver, the pavement condition and the load distributing condition onto four wheels are measured through a sensor 1. Then said information is taken into a computer 4 and a target operating quantity 13 in the suspension system to be taken under such condition is taken out from a table thus controlling the suspension by means of an actuator 3 in accordance with the target operating quantity. In other word, the mass distribution of a vehicle including persons and cargoes is measured and then at least one operational target value of adjustment of vehicle height, a damping factor or a spring constant is modified adaptively on the basis of the measured information. Consequently, the comfortability and the maneuverability can be improved. |
