On one side the box bounds a chamber, retaining at least one electric or electronic component, using an annular wall with any arbitrary contour, forming a shell. On the other hand it comprises connecting terminal clamps for the component coupling to an electric conductor. The clamp forms a separate part w.r.t. the shell. The clamp is fitted completely outside the shell, as well as outside by the shell bounded chamber. Pref. the clamp may engage the cylindrical shell by a slider system formed by an axial groove and a complementary rib on the shell and the clamp respectively. They are designed for an interference fit. The groove may have a tapering cross-sectional profile, with a smaller dia. at its opening. One flank of the groove may be orthogonal to its bottom, while the other one may be oblique.
