In a radiation detector for measuring the ultraviolet light component by means of a UV tube, the radiation detector has an electronic circuit for suppressing defective UV tube signals. In order to suppress defective UV tube signals, a capacitor for frequency compensation is provided in an integrated circuit which forms a pulse shaper stage.
