PURPOSE:To fix a cylinder end to a connection pipe readily and positively, to reduce the number of reinforcing layers of ply cords and shorten the production time, by folding back the cylinder end of ply cords or the like by the rotational movement of a bag body thereby enclosing bead wires. CONSTITUTION:The ringlike resilient bag body 32 is wound around the connection pipe 20, and the end 22A of the ply cord cylinder 22 put on the connection pipe 20 is arranged on the bag body 32. The bead wires 42 are wound around the ply cords 22 near the center (located between the bag body 32 and an anchoring projection 28 of the connection pipe) of the cylinder 22. In this state, a fluid (e.g. air) is filled from an air injection pipe 34 into the bag body, and the bag body 32 is rotated along the connection pipe thereby folding the end 22A of the cylinder to enclose the bead wires 42. The turned bag body 32 is removed after the fluid is withdrawn via the injection pipe 34. A skin rubber is wound on the cylinder 22 and is vulcanized to be bonded to finish the working. |
