PURPOSE:To control the frost-heave of the ground during the freezing work as well as prevent the sinking of ground during thawing by a method in which the ground to be frozen is beforehand mixed with an appropriate amount of Portland cement to form a mixed soil, and the mixed soil is frozen. CONSTITUTION:The ground 3 to be frozen is beforehand mixed with Portland cement in a cement/soil ratio of at least 10% or more by a deep layer mixing treatment work or a high-pressure jet mixing treatment work to form a mixed soil 4. A freezing tube 5 is buried in the mixed soil 4 and a refrigerant is passed through the freezing tube 5 to form a frozen soil 6. A frozen soil having a high strength can thus be formed without causing frost-heave and sinking. |
