PURPOSE:To fit a blade with high precision with simple operation, by fixing gap specifying spacers which have arcuate surfaces greater in diameter than a developing sleeve to both ends of the developing sleeve, and allowing the blade to abut on the arcuate surfaces. CONSTITUTION:The gap specifying spacers 9 are fixed coaxially to both ends of the sleeve 2 of a developing device which uses toner. The arcuate part 9a of the spacer 9 is greater than the external diameter of the sleeve 2 and the blade 8 is fixed to the front surface plate 1a of a hopper 1 while the front edge of the blade 8 abuts on the arcuate part 9a. Consequently, the gap g2 between the sleeve 2 and blade 8 is held in high precision. Therefore, the blade is fitted with high precision through the simple operation. |
