The invention relates to homo- and co-polymers of 1,3 dienes bearing reactive silyl groups. The polymerscontnin between 0.4 and 12% by weight of combincd silicon and are obtained by reacting a 1,3-diene homoor co-polymer containing less than 1% of conjugated double bonds and having a molecular weight (Mn) of between 400 and 8000 with a silane derivative. The polymers are useful, for example, as bonding agents in compositions composed of a polymer and a mineral filler.
