PURPOSE:To make operation simple and to improve considerably efficiency, by using the two; a fluoresent material which emits fluorescence under irradiation of UV light in a crystal state and a volatile solvent, as essential components. CONSTITUTION:A penetrant for fluorescent penetrant inspection is prepd. by dissolving 0.1-5pts.wt. a fluorescent material which dissolves in a volatile solvent, crystallizes when the volatile solvent evaporates, and emits fluorescence under irradiation of UV light in a crystal state in 100pts.wt. the volatile solvent. Org. phosphors such as anthracene, fluoracene, carbazole, pyrene or the like and optical whitening agents of stilbene, imidazole, thiazole, oxazole, triazole or the like are used for the above-mentioned fluorescent materials. Such penetrante for fluorescent penetrant inspection is formed by adding a prescribed amt. of the fluorescent material in the selected volatile solvent and dissolving thoroughly the same. |
