PURPOSE:To smooth idle stop control by changing over a first engine rotational frequency signal to a back-up signal corresponding to same for continuing the control of a control system when the first engine rotational frequency signal is troubled. CONSTITUTION:When a first engine rotational frequency signal S7 disappears and a trouble judging circuit 41 judges the occurrence of the trouble, said circuit 41 sends a commanding signal 4 for commanding the generation of a back- up signal 2 to a back-up signal generating circuit 43 while generating a control signal 3 for changing over a movable piece of a change-over switch 20 to the opposite contact side. Said circuit 43 receives the output signal of a wave form shaping circuit 42 and the commanding signal 4 of said circuit 41 to send the back-up signal 2 to an engine rotational frequency judging circuit and electromagnetic coil controlling circuit of an idle stop controlling circuit through the change-over switch 20. |
