PURPOSE:To select automatically one of plural measurement systems according to the ratio of the measured weight of a predetermined reference number of samples and the resolution of a scale when these samples are placed on the pan of the scale, by providing the plural measurement systems for the number of pieces. CONSTITUTION:A measuring person places n1 pieces of samples on the pan after tarting and presses a reference weight setting key to obtain the weight W1 of the samples. Whether the weight W1 is >=k1 times as great as the resolution (d) of this scale or not is judged. When W1 is <=k1Xd and it is judged that the sample weight is <=3 times as great as the resolution (d) of this scale, the state that counting is possible is displayed. When W1 is >=k1Xd, whether the w1 is k2 times the resolution of this scale is judged. When it is judged that the sample weight is >=30 times the resolution, mode A is displayed and the measurement routine of the mode A is entered. |
