PURPOSE:To attain ease of maintenance control, by pressing a pinch roll on a capstan as required only, in a magnetic recording still picture camera. CONSTITUTION:A tip of a lever 8 pressing and releasing a magnetic tape 4 onto the capstan 101 with turning is arranged so as to be engaged with a stopper section 20 of an L-shaped lever type power switch 19 and the contact is released when the switch is turned off. Only when the power supply of the camera device is turned on for the preparation of pickup, the pinch roll 6 presses the magnetic tape 4 onto the capstan 101 through the constitution above. Since the pressing onto the magnetic tape 4 is released with the switch 19 turned off in case other than the pickup, a failure such as deformation of the pinch roll 6 and degradation of the surface of magnetic tape does not take place. |
