PURPOSE:To achieve energy conservation, improvement in high temp. dangerous work and the rationalization of a working condition, by a method wherein a probe is mounted to perform each operation of horizontal slewing, lifting-falling and horizontal extension-contraction and the temp. measuring and sampling work of molten steel during pouring is mechanized and automated. CONSTITUTION:The holder 43 of a temp. measuring and sampling apparatus B is horizontally and linearly extended at a probe mounting position (a) by an extending and contracting electromotive cylinder 46 and contracted after mounts the probe 1 grasped by a probe mounting machine A. The height of the holder 43 is adjusted corresponding to the height of a casting pot by a lift mechanism constituted from a life rail 27, an inner cylinder 29 and an electromotive cylinder 30. The holder 43 is horizontally revolved to a temp. measuring and sampling position (b) by a revolving mechanism constituted from an outer cylinder 33, a revolving electromotor 34, a rack 37 and a pinion 36 to be linearly extended to the position (c) of a temp. measuring and sampling state to perform the temp. measurement and the sampling of a poured stream 47 by the probe 1. |
