Coloured and/or printed bonded fibre web materials, including tissue papers, for whose preparation white pigments coloured with cationic dyes were used as colourants. Preferred colourants are kaolin, calcium carbonates, blanc fixe, chalk and/or titanium dioxides which have been coloured with metal-free or metallised polycationic colourants, and which contain on average at least 1.3 quaternary or protonated nitrogen atoms per dye molecule as cationic groups.
