The invention submitted under the term "Substance systems for sorption heat pumps" relates to solutions of salts, amides and water in ammonia and amines. By combining the substances, it is intended to produce a substance system which is suitable for use in absorption refrigerating plants and absorption heat pumps and which avoids, or alleviates, the known disadvantages of the substance system ammonia/water. In particular, it is intended to eliminate the effect of the rectification. Moreover, less heat of solution is intended to result in a better thermal ratio.
