A solar heat collector has a selective absorption ability and is formed over a heat collecting plate made of polyolefin resin. Polyolefin resin radiates large quantities of infrared rays and also has a bad bondability, but is very suitable for providing an inexpensive solar heat collector by a blowing mold. In order to reduce the radiation of infrared rays by the heat collecting surface, a first coating layer (II) mainly consisting of a metal powder and at least one of thermoplastic acrylic resin, alkyd resin, chlorinated polyolefin resin, and epoxy resin is formed, and a second coating layer (III) having a selective solar light absorbancy is formed over the first layer. With this structure, a solar heat collector which has an advantageously high reliability, an excellent cost performance, and can withstand severe environments can be obtained.
|
