PURPOSE:To input coordinates efficiently, by moving flexibly coupled upper and lower levers unitedly from a straight position up to a prescribed angle to move a carsor at a low speed, and when the prescribed angle is exceeded, switching the speed of the carsor to a high speed by operating the upper lever. CONSTITUTION:When the operation lever 11, 12 are inclined within a prescribed angle, the upper and lower levers 11, 12 are operated unitedly like a straight line by the force of a helical spring 4. In this case, a contact part 5 is in uncontact state and the carsor moves at a low speed. When the inclination exceeds the prescribed angle, the lower lever 12 is restricted and only the upper lever 11 is slightly bent, so that the inner surfaces of a rod-like conductor 2 and a conductive ring 61 are shorted and the carsor is switched from low to high speed. Thus, the switching between the low and high speeds can be performed by continuing the same operation of the operation levers and the carsor can be guided to a required position precisely and rapidly. |
