PURPOSE:To obtain the economical mass production of a sliding bearing with high precision without any mechanical processing by arranging the first layer in an outer mold with a core for shaping optional number of synthetic resin layers around the first layer by injection and finally taking out the core from the first layer. CONSTITUTION:The outer diameter of a core 4 is shaped in consideration of the contracted portion due to shaping, and its surface is processed by precise finishing such as mirror face finishing. The inner surface of an outer mold 5 is roughed by shot-blasting, other mechanical processings, etching, or the like. Synthetic resin 9 is injected into a space 8 to shape the first layer to be used for a bearing layer. When the core 4 with the first layer 1 is arranged in the second outer mold 10 and synthetic resin 12 is injected into a space between the first layer and the outer mold 10 to shape the second layer 2 to be used for a supporting layer, the inner surface of the second layer 2 is roughed to correspond to the rough surface of the periphery of the first layer 1, and as contraction goes on, the first and the second layers are combined tight. |
