PURPOSE:To reduce the variance of the temperature characteristic, by obtaining a primary temperature coefficient alpha on a basis of a resonance frequency, which is measured when a vibrator is heated to an optional temperature, and sticking weights to approximate alpha to zero and matching the main oscillation to a standard frequency f0. CONSTITUTION:The combined vibrator is heated to measure a temperature tn and a resonance frequency fn of the main oscillation, and the primary temperature coefficient alpha is obtained. When the coefficient alpha is positive, weights are stuck to center end parts 10 and 11 in the lengthwise direction of the oscillating part to approximate the coefficient alpha to zero, and weights are stuck to parts 16-19 between center end parts and four corners of the oscillating part to match the resonance frequency of the main oscillation to the standard frequency f0. When the coefficient alpha is negative, weights are stuck to four corners 12-15 of the oscillating part to approximate the coefficient alpha to zero, and weights are stuck to parts between center end parts and four corners to match the resonance frequency of the main oscillation to the standard frequency f0. When the coefficient alpha is approximately zero, weights are stuck to parts 16-19 between center end parts and four corners to match the resonance frequency of the main oscillation to the standard frequency f0. |
