PURPOSE:To prevent knocking on the trailing side by installing a specific cover and a working-gas guiding concave part on the trailing part of a rotor flank surface and introducing, in the vicinity of the compression top dead center the pressurized working gas on the trailing side into a combustion chamber and allowing a turbulent flow to be generated and rapidly combusted. CONSTITUTION:A porous thermally sprayed layer 12 which is compression-deformable is formed on the flank surface 4a at the trailing side edge part of the rotary recess 4b of a rotor 4, and said porous thermally sprayed layer 12 on the flank surface 4a brought into contact with the inner surface of a rotor housing 2, in the vicinity of a compression top dead center and is closely attached through plastic deformation. The working gas in this gap part is strongly pushed-out towards a combustion chamber 5 which is formed in the rotary recess 4b, and a squish flow is formed. Since a guiding concave part 13 directed towards the rotary recess 4b is formed on the thermally sprayed layer 12 further, the working gas is directed by the guiding concave part 13 and pushed-out under pressure in high speed towards the combustion chamber 5, and the squish flow is made further stronger. |
