PURPOSE:To confirm easily the operationable range and to use effectively the titled calculator, by displaying the range of data possible to operate on a display section of the electronic calculator. CONSTITUTION:For example, in the operation of the range of possible operation (y) for tan operation as to the absolute value ¦y¦<=180 deg., the RANGE key for the mode setting displaying the range of data is depressed at first in the key group 3. The signal is discriminated at a calculation control section 5 and stored in a display register of a data register 7. The content of the register is transmitted via a display driver 8 as a signal signifying the data range to a display section 9 and display the symbol 14. In depressing the tan key of the key group 3, the signal is inputted to the control section 5 to change the content of the register 7 and a display driver 8 is driven in response to the content and the value is displayed on a display section 9. |
