PURPOSE:To reduce the number of production steps, by providing a stopper comprising a body and a shaft, and by integrally coupling the stopper to a body mount to enable the higher-rigidity portion of a vehicle body to carry the impulsive load of vehicle collision or the like to dispense with the reinforcement of a stopper attaching portion and the vicinity thereof. CONSTITUTION:A bracket 17 on a floor is disposed between the walls 16 of the body 12 of a stopper whose bottom is placed on the rubber 8 of an insulator 4 and clamped thereon by a bolt and nut 22. The shaft 24 of the stopper is loosely fitted in the stopper shaft engagement holes 23 of the right and left walls of the bracket 17, inserted into the stopper shaft reception holes of the walls 16 of the stopper body 12 and clamped to the walls 16. As a result, the stationary relative displacement or impulsive force between a side member 2 and the body floor 18 at the time of vehicle movement or the like is reduced by the insulator 4, and the impulsive load at the time of vehicle collision or the like is reduced by contact with the inside surfaces of the stopper shaft engagement holes 23 to prevent a relative motion from becoming larger than the gap. The reinforcement of the vicinity of the stopper is thus made needless to reduce the number of production steps.
