PURPOSE:To provide the titled material excellent in fingerprint resistance and color forming property, by a method wherein a high-temperature color forming layer, a low-temperature color forming layer comprising a red hue color forming leuco dye and a color developer and containing specified quantities of a binder and a filler and an overcoat layer comprised of a binder and a filler are laminated on a base. CONSTITUTION:The high-temperature color forming layer comprised of a leuco dye {preferably, 3-[N-(p-tolyl)-N-ethylamino-7-anilinofluoran] of formula I (wherein each of R<1>, R<2> is H, lower alkyl) or the like} and a color developer thereof, the low-temperature color forming layer comprised of a red hue color forming leuco dye [preferably, 3-diethylamino-6-methylfluoran of formula II (wherein each of R<5>, R<6> is lower alkyl; X is halogen, lower alkyl) or the like] and a color developer thereof and containing 0.3-1.5pts.wt. of a binder (e.g., PVA) and 0.5-3.0pts.wt. of a filler (e.g., calcium carbonate) per 1pt.wt. of the leuco dye and the overcoat layer comprised of a binder and a filler are sequentially laminated on the base to obtain the objective two-color heat-sensitive recording material. EFFECT:Adhesion of scum does not occur. |
