<p>Resilient sheet material suitable for use as a carpet underlay or integral carpet backing has a surface covered with a layer of friction-reducing particles. In a preferred embodiment the sheet material is formed from a supported layer of foam polymer and the particles are flock fibres which are applied by sprinkling onto the polymer whilst this is in the form of a sticky latex.</p> |
