PURPOSE:To make it possible to continuously carry out the printing of both surfaces in a simple apparatus, in the printing apparatus of an information processing system, by a method wherein paper passing through a printing part is drawn out by a paper feed apparatus and, thereafter, reversely sent to be turned while guided along the rear surface side of a platen. CONSTITUTION:When the leading end of printing paper from an insertion port 26 is detected by a sensor 15, a paper presser 24 is opened to feed the paper into a printing part 3 by a platen and paper feeding apparatuses 7, 8 and the paper end is made as lead-out part on the basis of a sensor 16 to perform surface printing according to printing order. Thereafter, when the paper is rapidly drawn out by the paper feed apparatus 4 and the trailing end thereof is detected by a sensor 17, the paper feed is stopped and, at the same time, a guide plate 16 is revolved forward. In the next step, the sending apparatus 4 is reversed while the platen 1 and the paper feed apparatus 8 are positively rotated and the paper is turned inside out through a passage 14 to be again fed into the printing part 13. By this method, the printing of both surfaces can be continuously carried out by a simple apparatus and the amount of the printing paper to be consumed can be reduced. |
