PURPOSE:To make it possible to miniaturize the titled device and to apply it to a robot hand by a method wherein parts of different kinds of configurations are attracted by the holding device by selecting grooves in the device suitable for receiving contact surfaces of the parts, respectively. CONSTITUTION:An attractive holding device comprises a holding plate 1 having a diameter larger than that of a large-sized disk 100 to be held by the device, a changeover valve 2 provided at the center of the holding plate 1 and an air intake means communicating with the valve 2 so as to suck air. The holding plate 1 is provided with grooves 1a, 1e and 1f which connect to a horizontal conduit 1x through vertical pipes 1m, 1R and 1S and grooves 1b, 1c and 1d which connect to a horizontal conduit 1y and vertical pipes 1n, 1p and 1q. The changeover valve 2 connects to the conduit 1x or 1y through a hole 2a provided in the cylindrical side surface of the valve as the valve rotates. Thus, when the large- sized disk 100 is held by the valve 2, the valve 2 is switched to connect to the conduit 1x while when a small-sized disk is held, the valve 2 is switched to connect to the conduit 1y. |
