PURPOSE:To enhance resistance to blocking, offset, etc., by using for a binder a rosin type polymer compd. obtd. by allowing rosin glycidyl ester, and dicarboxylic acid react with a specified cross-linking agent. CONSTITUTION:The intended electrophotographic toner composition is obtained by allowing (A) rosin glycidyl ester and (B) dicarboxylic acid, or its anhydride, such as trimellitic acid to react with (C) a cross-linking agent selected from a group of polyfunctional epoxy compd., such as epoxy resin, and >=3- valent polyol, such as trimethylolpropane, using the obtd. rosin type polymer having 50-110 deg.C softening point, 10-170 deg.C glass transition point, and 2,000- 40,000mol.wt. for a binder resin, and dispersing a colorant, such as carbon black, into this binder. |
