PURPOSE:To prevent both condensation and solidification of granules and the decrease of capabilities absorptively storing and emitting hydrogen, by mixing the granules consisting of metal or alloy absorptively storing the hydrogen with particles and small pieces, consisting of metal or alloy material other than the above. CONSTITUTION:Hydrogen gas is forcibly injected from a valve 12 into a porous pipe 8 through a pipe 10 and absorptively stored in granules 22 consisting of metal or alloy absorptively storing hydrogen, and the heating (cooling) medium is emitted outside from an outlet 18 by circulating said medium in a hose 14, here the granules 22 result in an easily condensed and solidified state by being changed into a fine size through absorption and emission of hydrogen. The granules 22, in which particles and small pieces 26 consisting of metal or alloy material of different kind are mixed, are roughly arranged to be isolated in a bulky state containing countless air gaps to result in the condition difficult for the granules to be condensed and solidified. Accordingly, it is not difficult for the hydrogen gas to flow through the granules, and any longer time is required for the hydrogen to be absorbed and emitted. |
