PURPOSE:To clean the tube for the heat exchanger quickly and easily by a method wherein the mixed fluid of water, air and sand is blown into the tube. CONSTITUTION:High-pressure air is fed from a compressor 1 into a relay pipe 12 through an air hose 11. The high-pressure air for energizing the sand enters into a sand hose 16. Sand grains, dropping from a sand tank 2, are transported through the sand hose 16 by the stream of air and are distributed in a distributer 5 in accordance with the number of sand guns. A high-pressure pump 4 pressurizes the water to push out it into a water hose 18. The high-pressure water is mixed with the air stream from an air hose 13 and enters into the sand guns 6. The stream of water and air is blown into the whirling chamber 62 of a casing 51 tangentially. The stream of sand and air receives the tangential whirling force of the stream of water and air in the whirling chamber 62 and the mixed stream of sand, water and air is sent forcibly into a main nozzle 60 under being whirled thereby cleaning the inner wall of the tube for the heat exchanger. |
