PURPOSE:To make a clutch mechaism compact, and to conduct a smooth clutch operation, by employing a double shaft structure for the transmission mechanism of a clutch section. CONSTITUTION:A sleeve 20 for slide operation receives therein a rotary shaft 15 rotating against a brake pressure, and includes on its inner peripheral surface a threaded portion 21 threadedly engaged with a treaded portion 22 of the rotary shaft 15. The sleeve 20 is further provided with a flange 23 having a first ratchet surface 24 on one side thereof and a second ratchet surface 25 on the other side thereof. A first gear 7 receives the rotary shaft 15 therethrough, and is arranged on one side of the flange 23 so as to mesh with the first ratchet surface 24 of the flange 23. A second gear 8 receives a sleeve 20 there-through, and is arrange, in coaxial relation with the first gear 7, on the other side of the flange 23 so as to mesh with the second ratchet surface 5. A third gear 9 receiving a rotary power from an electric motor 1 is fitted to a sleeve 21 in such a manner as to be permitted to slide in an axial direction and engage with the sleeve in a rotational direction. With this constitution, a clutch operation may be smoothly carried out. |
