Combine harvester with variable position outlets

The combine harvester can deposit the straw, which has been separated from the crop, either behind the machine or to the left or to the right of the machine. This is achieved by a separator which is surrounded by a fixed cylindrical housing with a number of openings in its periphery. These openings can be closed by the rotation of a control cylinder which encloses the cylindrical housing and which is also provided with openings. Alternatively the openings in the cylindrical housing may be provided with hinged or sliding covers.
