The wind surf board comprises a longitudinal member (1) in hard plastic foam, e.g. polystyrene foam, with wings on either side in a softer foam plastic which are secured e.g. by epoxy adhesive and may consist of laminated layers of cross-linked polythene. The member may comprise a hollow enclosure (11) e.g. in reinforced polyester which is foamed with polystyrene and may consist of two parts sealingly connected e.g. by epoxy adhesive. The wings may consist of (at least three) thermally laminated layers parallel to the main surface of the board. The upper and lower surface of the board may be plastic-laminated by a layer (6) covering the member (1) and the wings which may consist of glass (fibre) impregnated with polyester or epoxy resin or of cross-linked polythene. /2.
