Process for energy-saving temperature control of a closed room, and apparatus for performing the process

The temperature prevailing in a closed room is controlled to save energy, in that a mass which stores heat is brought into contact with the air in the room and brought to the temperature of the latter, the temperature of the reservoir being if necessary made use of to control the temperature within the room. Air is sucked out of the inner room at a height different from that at which it is fed back again from the reservoir to the room. The ventilating pipes are provided at their free ends, in the room to be temperature-controlled, with flaps which are displaceable by the air stream. The design of the free ends of the ventilating pipes and the arrangement of the flaps provided there is such that the flaps respectively work in pairs, so that on one hand in each case an air inlet and air outlet are opened, and on the other hand in each case an air inlet and air outlet are closed, as long as the corresponding fan runs.
