PURPOSE:To reduce the amount of visible light passing through a fender mirror of a photo projector by a method in which the photo projector of a wiper controller to detect the amount of rain water dropets on the wind screen glass by an optical ray is set inside the fender mirror and cold mirror is provided on the whole surface of the mirror. CONSTITUTION:The photo projector 2 of a wiper controller is provided with an optical ray source 9 attached through a ray source-fitting part 8 to the body 7 of a fender mirror and a concave mirror 11 provided to the ray source 9. The mirror 6 is provided with a cold mirror 13 attached through the mirror- fitting part 12 to the mirror body 7. Light generated from the ray source 9 is parallelized by the concave mirror 11, and of the parallel beams, visible rays are reflected and only infrared rays pass through the cold mirror 13. Since the amount of visible rays passing through the mirror 13 is greatly reduced, no damage is caused to the original function of the fender mirror. |
