Diving device

A diving device, with the aid of which it is possible, using the water pressure and the lung power, to compress fresh air in a container above the water surface and to convey it to the desired water depth into a breathing bag. The device is an exclusively pressure-controlled system which in its above-water part firstly uses exhalation air for compression of the fresh air. Over and above the pressure equalisation, the lung pressure then moves the fresh air into the breathing bag under water. On the escape of the spent air, the latter draws fresh air into the compression container again. An arrangement of valves on the above-water and the underwater part guides the air through hoses in the required directions. The device consists of three elements: the above-water part (breath pump) which floats on the water surface, the underwater part with the breathing bag which the user wears fixed to his body, and the hose connections, through which the fresh air and the outgoing air are conducted. The system functions without outside energy, only by using the pressure fluctuations during breathing.
