An auxiliary handle (1) for fastening to a powered hand tool is proposed. To this end, a tightening strap (3) is placed around a housing extension, containing the tool spindle, of the powered hand tool. The ends of the tightening strap (3) are fastened to a draw-in bolt (6) which is arranged in the interior of a hollow body (8). So that the auxiliary handle can also be adapted to very high torque at the powered hand tool, a threaded sleeve (14) supported at the end face is screwed into the hollow body (8). The threaded sleeve (14) is integrally formed in one piece on a bar (15) of polygonal cross-section, in particular of hexagonal cross-section. The bar (15) is guided in a longitudinally displaceable manner in an allocated central guide bore (16) of a handle part (17) preferably made of plastic. To lock the bar (15), it has catch recesses (18) in which catch bodies (21), preferably balls, engage which are displaceably arranged in radial passages (20) of the handle part (17). <IMAGE> |
