The ic engine air feed has the valve (2) actuated by atmospheric pressure and another (14) controlled by the load on the engine. Both are placed in series, in an air flow. The downstream air current end is connected downstream of an IC engine carburettor. A manual control valve (70) is fitted in parallel with the atmospheric pressure control valve in the air flow. The connection to the downstream side of the carburettor is by a pipe with a pressure regulating valve. There can be a second control valve (72) in parallel with the atmospheric and load control valves.
