The bolt 13 has a limb 13a with a member 16 of rubber or of synthetic plastics material mounted thereon. The bolt 13 is actuated when a member 17, which is attached to the bonnet or boot, strikes the limb 13a, the member 16 thereon reducing the amount of noise caused when striking takes place and when a surface 16a of the member 16 abuts a surface 14a of the detent 14. The surfaces 16a, 14a are complementary.</p> |
