PURPOSE:To elevate the measuring accuracy preventing the lowering of accuracy due to noise of a flat part in a square wave by sampling only information at only rising and falling parts of the square wave on which bearing information is concentrated. CONSTITUTION:Outputs of antennas 1 and 2 perpendicular in the directivity to each other are added to a ballance modulators 3 and 4, modulated by outputs of two square generators 5 with a phase difference of 90 deg. and synthesized with a synthesization circuit 7 to make a synthesized output of non-directivity. The output is added to a frequency discriminator 11 through an HF amplifier 8 and an IF amplifier 10. The output of the discriminator is sampled each time a square wave rises and falls and the values thus obtained are applied to memory devices 17-20, outputs of which are added with an addition circuit 25 at each 1/4 cycle of the square wave to form a staircase. This is passed through a filter 26 and a phase detector 27 to detect the phase of a sine wave component thereby indication of the incoming direction of a radio wave with a display 28. As a result, errors due to a voice signal or the like is prevented thereby enabling accurate detection of the incoming direction of the radio wave. |
