PURPOSE:To obtain the titled receptor having stable electric characteristics in repeated use by forming an intermediate layer contg. a specified disazo pigment and a photoconductive Se layer on an electrically conductive support. CONSTITUTION:Fine particles of a disazo pigment represented by formula I (where X is an aromatic ring such as a benzene ring or a naphthalene ring, a heterocycle such as an indole ring or a carbazole ring, or a substitution product thereof; Ar1 is an aromatic ring, a heterocycle or a substitution product thereof; each of Ar2 and Ar3 is an aromatic ring or a substitution product thereof; each of R1 and R2 is H, lower alkyl, phenyl or a substitution product thereof; and R3 is lower alkyl, carboxyl or ester thereof) are dispersed by 1-50wt% in an insulating resin such as polyester resin. The resin is applied to an electrically conductive support and dried to form an intermediate layer of 1-5mum thickness, and a photoconductive layer of 10-100mum thickness is formed on the intermediate layer by vapor-depositing an Se alloy or compound. |
