PURPOSE:To detect a leakage current safely, securely, and automatically through a simple constitution, by connecting a light emitting body which emits light when conducted between an insulator at the outer circumference of a conduction part and a power source, and photodetecting its light. CONSTITUTION:Discharge tubes 6 and 6' which emit light when conducted are connected to the insulator layer 2 at the outer circumference of the conduction part forming a heater part 3, etc., and power source terminals 5 and 5'. If a leakage current due to the insulation deterioration of the layer 2 flows to turn on the discharge tubes 6 and 6', an opposite photosensor 8 photodetects the light to detect a minute leakage current safely, securely, and automatically, preventing an accident due to the leakage current through a simple constitution. |
