PURPOSE:To make it possible to introduce a pipe reel ship into a dock, by enabling a part projecting from the ship's bottom of the pipe reel ship to be separatable, and as well by enabling the separatable part to be sent to and pulled up from the sea bottom with the use of a wire. CONSTITUTION:In a pipe reel ship including a pipe reel 2 mounted on a ship hull 1 and having a lower part projecting from the bottom of the ship hull, at least a part 2A of the pipe reel which projects from the ship's bottom is made to be separatable, and is arranged to be made possible to be sent to and pulled up from the sea bottom by means of wires 10. When the ship is introduced into a dock for repairing or the like, the separatable part 2A is sent to the sea bottom so that there is no projection from the ship's bottom, thereby the introduction of the ship is made possible. |
