In order to elastically support the load on vehicles, in particular railway waggons, partitions which can be displaced in the direction of travel are provided for transportation securing purposes, with which partitions securing takes place against displacement by means of adjustable locking components, e.g. pins or the like. Here, the spring and damping elements (36) extend in the lateral and/or vertical direction of the partition (5) in order to elastically bear the partition (5) via the locking elements (11, 12) in the holding components (13, 14). Expediently, the suspension (36) extends along the faces of the partitions. A substantial portion of the forces of the overrunning impacts can be processed directly at or in the partition so that the structure of the waggon is relieved of stress in accordance with the forces. <IMAGE>
