Process for mixing and drying free-flowing solid explosives

In a process for mixing and drying free-flowing solid explosives, in particular water-moist monobasic or polybasic fuel granules, particular safety precautions are taken. To provide an integrated process for mixing and drying free-flowing explosives with a small space requirement, few manipulations and little transport, the explosive is transported by means of moistened conveying air into a static mixer, the mixer is filled and the explosive is discharged via take-off means and transported into a drier by means of moistened conveying air, dried by means of non-moistened warm air fed countercurrent, recycled to the mixer by means of moistened conveying air and discharged after reaching a predetermined degree of mixing and drying.
