<p>PURPOSE:To provide a noxious animal repelling composition exhibiting remarkable synergistic effect for a long period, by using 1,17-diguanidino-9-azaheptadecane or its salt and bis(dimethylthiocarbamoyl)disulfide as active components. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition contains (A) 1,17-diguanidino-9-azaheptadecane of formula I or its salt, e.g. hydrochloride, sulfate, acetate, citrate, p-toluenesulfonic acid salt, etc. and (B) bis(dimethylthiocarbamoyl)disulfide of formula II as active components. The composition exhibits remarkable repelling effect to the noxious animals, such as brown rat, field vole, hare, pigeon, etc. for a long period compared with the separate use of each component by the synergistic effect of the components. The ratio of the component (A) to (B) is preferably 5-95wt% to 95-5wt%, especially 30-70wt% to 70-30wt%.</p> |
