PURPOSE:To improve the general-purpose properties of a cash register, by switching a system to count the sales quantity for each article and a system to divide the articles into optional plural groups and to count the unit price of each group as well as the quantity of each group. CONSTITUTION:An RAM (a) which stores a registration mode or a set mode is provided to a CPU1 of an ECR main body which processes the data supplied through a numeric input part 3, a function key 5 and a mode input part 7 by the CPU1 and a program of an ROM12. An RAM9 contains a department information area (b), a department-based area of unit price information (c) and a sales quantity area (d) and at the same time stores (e) the designation for a counting system of the quantity set by the split pricing registration. Flags (1) and (0) are stored to a memory (e) when the sales quantity is counted for each article and counted for each quantity of a set, respectively. As a result, it is possible to have a switch between the registration for each set and the registration for each article to improve the stock control. |
