PURPOSE:To automate the taking in and out of a green tyre by a method wherein, in the cradle of green tyre of a vulcanizer, an arm with multiple pawls is rotatably provided on circularly arranged multiple racks to be rotated by the engagement with the bead of green tyre in case it is inserted and lifted. CONSTITUTION:The racks 2 are moved to be adjusted by means of a screw 3 to make the peripheral diameter of a guide plate 8 almost equivalent to the inside diameter of the bead of a green tyre T. Next, when an arm 11 is set up left side to the green tyre T along the periphery of the guide plate 8 with the inside diameter of the bead, the lower bead depresses a pawl 11a downward to rotate the arm 11 counterclockwise making the bead get over the pawl 11a going into the lower part with another pawl 11b projecting outward at the same time. If the bead is further lowered, the lower surface of the upper bead is supported by the pawl 11b while the lower side deformation is prevented by a supporter 24. On the other hand, in order to lift the bead by a rotor frame 21, the bead may be lifted by means of the reverse actions. Through these procedures, the constitution of this unit may be simplified while automating the taking in and out of a green tyre. |
